Detox Footbath? It sounds like someone is pushing some quackery on you. There are several meds that can relieve any pain involved. There is nothing yet made that will reverse it. Only tight glucose control can prevent it from progressing.

The link below is to some magnetic insoles that have been shown to reverse diabetic neuropathy. No joke- I’ve heard from several people who were able to cancel the amputation of toes after wearing them for a few weeks.
Contact me for more info. It would be great if they could help you out!!

Never heard of this treatment. I am beginning to have diabetic neuropathy and am interested in whether or not it works.

It may offer some comfort, but typically medication is needed to help with the neuropathy. There is also a danger that the foot bath water may be too hot for the diabetic to notice due to decreased or lack of feeling in the feet. This could cause unnecessary burning and skin breakdown which takes a long time to heal.

I doubt it. Can’t see how it would affect your nerves, but maybe if you believe it will help you might think you feel better
