    when you take insulin it converts the sugar you eat into energy for your body. diabetics don’t make insulin naturally so even though they are eating its as if their bodies are starving. if you don’t take your insulin, this is what happens

    Since when is diabulimia a fucking ‘weightloss trend’? the fact that it has the word ‘bulimia’ in it should clue in a supposed ‘doctor’ that it’s an EATING DISORDER. Calling it a weightloss trend is demeaning and incredibly erroneous.

    not taking my insulin doesn’t make me lose weight… I don’t get it. I’m a type 1 and I wear an insulin pump. My basal rate is 1.7 units an hour. Last monday I took my pump off and I kept it off until yesterday. I didn’t get ketones, and my blood sugar never got over 240. All week… it’s confusing..

    I will list all the trouble you will cause with diabulimia:1) disgusting acetone smell, 2) bad headaches, 3) extreme thirst, 4) pee all day, 5) every step hurts, 6) no concentration, 7) even vomiting, 8) heavy breathing, 9) dry mouth and that is before you get at the risky level!!! DISGUSTING GIRL! Don’t sit near her she smells! that’s true!

    You get bad headaches and you can’t breath easily, sometimes you even through up.
