Great question; Chromium is an essential trace mineral, and perhaps one of the rare supplements I suggest people explore in fat/weight loss endeavors. In general, I don’t encourage people to take mineral supplements without thorough research, due to the possibility of accumulation in the body whereby it becomes toxic. But research is showing with proper supplementation, it can be very useful…get this…for carb craving control and reduced food intake by as much as 25%! More info below…

So this carb control aspect of chromium along with reduced caloric intake is pretty amazing. In my opinion, such supplementation would need to be cycled, much like creatine should be…BUT…On THAT note…I do not personally encourage people to use creatine. It is a very powerful supplement that does give noticable results, esp for bodybuilders, and I remain undecided about its use on a long-term basis.

Do you know anything about Riceotein (brown rice protein)? Would you consider it a healthy protein source?

I would have to research it. My initial concern would be the starch content of the product, since rice itself is a heavy starch. It is likely high on the carb scale, which would mean that it may be ok but only in moderation, and depending on the rest of the person’s diet and condition as to how much it could be incorporated in. My initial opinion is that I’d avoid it for people trying to lose fat/weight.

I work out hard, but not for hours and hours. Just short to medium length workouts with a healthy amount of push, pull and challenge. In the future I will cover working out in much more detail for various body types, and will do some workout vids if I can figure out how to obscure my face (”faceless”)…;>…Likely no “posing” vids, I simply don’t have it in me. ;> Thanks for the comment tho, much appreciated!
