Is There A Place For Diabetes Medicin/testing Supplys For Uninsured Seniors Too Young For Medicare?

I am a couple years short of qualifing for medicare. I fell ill a year ago and when i came off of medical leave i was laid off. I have been using cobra coverage for 7 months and was hoping to come up with more affordable solution then paing my cobra plus my medications every month. I have not used my cobra for anything but medication seince i have used cobra. But every online diabetic supply place seems to only be geared to serve medicare recipiants. any relivent info would be appreciated.
Thanks, John

Many drug companies donate free supplies and medicines each year to uninsured. Contact the company you’re interested in. Call ADA for company numbers.

I am not sure this information is relevant to your situation, but try consulting with your local health department or social services. There are several programs in place to assist in obtaining medication, etc. Ask your doctor for help too. He / she can likely point you in the right direction as well.
    Good luck and best wishes….
