There a refrigerators which can be used in vehicled you plug them into the cigarette lighter of the car/ vehicle.

You really don’t need a fridge. It is still good when not refrigerated, but you need to keep in a place where it will stay at a consistent, not very hot temperature. If you can’t do that, you still don’t need a fridge. I know an insulin-dependent diabetic who has their insulin mailed to them. It comes in a Styrofoam cooler with some really good ice packs. That should keep the insulin cool for days. This person offers the cooler and ice packs on our local freecycle group on a regular basis. If you have a local group, why not put out a wanted ad for one of them? Who knows, maybe someone gets their insulin that way, and will save the container for you? It’ll keep your insulin cool, it will be cheaper, and will help the environment )

You don’t need a fridge for traveling with insulin. A vial of insulin is good for over a month unrefrigerated. I use up 2 vials a month, so it is not even an issue with me.
If you really can’t live without a small fridge, Walgreens sells one that runs on ac/dc. You can plug it into a wall or car cigarette lighter. It’s a small box big enough to hold a six pack of beer and maybe a few other small items. I used one while I was traveling a lot with my toddler who needed cold milk all the time during the driving. I drank the beer up.

you will actually be okay without it refrigerated. it can keep for short term in room temp out of direct sunlight. dont let ti get hot, but no need to worry too much about it. they say that refrigeration is only necessary for long term storage.

There are portable insulin fridges that can run off your car battery. They plug into the ciggarette lighter.
However, all you really need is a Frio Wallet.

They’re a simple but ingenious way to keep insulin cool with just water and a wallet that you soak. The water evaporates and cools the insulin. They really do work for days at a time in very hot weather.
You just have to take out the pen or vial of insulin and soak the wallet in cool or cold water for a short while to refresh the wallet. Its simple to use and it works! I love them!
