I’m 24 yrs old and not overweight. Recently after drink sweet soft drinks or eating very sweet foods I have been feeling dizzy and nauseous. I have always felt nauseous after eating sweet foods ever since I was young so I dont really like eating them. But I dont normally have dizziness. Could I have diabetes?

i was jus curious on the difference between type 1 and 2 diabetes and the effects cause the internet has all these medical answers i juss want a simple answer..thanx

what is the differance between type one and type two diabetes. nick jonas has type 1 and on tv they always talk about type two. is one worse than 2 ? or are they both about the same?

I know it has to do with glucose and blood sugar and how your body metabolizes things. But I just don’t know the difference. Sugar is worse to have isn’t it ( of course I know diabetes is horrible too)? Please help. thanks:)
ok for those of you who told me Sugar is a food. I am aware of that. as i am aware that you cannot get it from eating Splenda over and over. But both my grandmother and great grandmother had Sugar NOT diabetes. And I am high risk for it but not diabetes, according to 3 seperate doctors I have seen!

There seem to be cookbooks that are specific to Type 2 diabetes. Does this mean there’s a difference in the kind of diet that Type 1 and Type 2 sufferers need to follow?

one of my friends has diabetes….the other is hyperglycemic… and they were trying to explain to me that they’re the opposite of each other but i don’t get it. help??

Also, are fasting blood sugar levels an accurate diagnostic test because i heard people with diabetes type 1 can have normal blood sugar levels from fasting but not after eating… is that true?
I know type 1 makes no insulin and type 2 makes little insulin but how does a doctor know? Are blood sugar levels higher in type 1 then in type 2? Is there a blood test to determine it?

I know that Triglycerides strengthen the link between diabetes and heart disease but how does that go?
