I have switched insulin pumps, and I would like to get rid of the old one. I was told the only way to do it legally was to return it to the company that supplied it to you for a credit. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I’m looking for a company that provides life insurance for individuals with diabetes. My son is 23 with juvenile diabetes and I’m having a hard time finding a company to insure him because of that.

I am graduating, so my parents insurance dropped me and I need to find a new company. I wanted Blue Cross Blue Shield, but I have diabetes, and they said I would have to wait 365 days before they would cover treatment for my diabetes, or any other pre-existing condition. I need to find a good insurance company that won’t delay treatment on my pre-existing condition. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Will my insurance company know if I see a specialist w/o a referral from my primary care physician?

I have Pacificare HMO health insurance. I recently got lab work and my primary physician’s nurse said I do not have insulin resistance. I was diagnosed with it about 8 years ago and I still have the same symptoms, so I think I still have it. And I want to go to the same doctor I went to who is an endocrinologist. I am embarassed to ask my PCP for a referral to the endocrinologist b/c they just told me I don’t have it and I don’t want to bother them. Can I just go see her, show my insurance card, and get by with it without the official referral?
Or, could I ask the endocrinologist to contact my PCP for the referral?
Can anyone recommend a REAL health insurance company?

I’m a 62 year old retired male with diabetes. The big health insurance names won’t cover me, at any price. I make too much money for my state’s plan, and I’ve tried the rip-off health discount plans. I had 6 claims with the last guys, and they didn’t pay a penny. I’m 3 years away from Medicare.

Im currently looking for a new company to process applications through medicare and send out diabetic supplies. I am only wanting $40.00 per approved and processed application. I possess a data base of over 2000 brand new complete leads.My old company was not paying me for my hard work so I pretty much kept my data. I have applications ready to be processed and customers waiting for meters and supplies. Does anyone know of an up and coming supply company or a company in general looking for new customers?
