I have been a diabetic for 10 years.
I used to take 1 tablet of metformin 500mg together with foods 3 times daily, and my glucose level were well controlled.

Food For Diabetic

where do I find information on it on it and the herbs that are supposed to be used? and don’t say it doesn’t exist because that is just being shortsighted. do I need to join the Kevin tredaeu website or email someone or what?
I say dont say there isn’t one. and then tink says just that. Tredaeu is a brilliant guy for bringing us this info and I believe him. worst comes the worst I’ll get a subscription to his site.

My friend is a type-1 diabetic, and he’s getting his wisdom teeth removed. Now, after that kind of surgery you have to eat mushy soft foods that are high in calories, to keep the body strong. But with his medical condition he can’t really have a whole lot of calorie rich foods. I’m going to have him take a ton of ester-c to help his immune system but his doctors are idiots and have no reconmondations about what he should eat. Anyone have any info?

I need some easy to prepare recipes

I know a lady who had to go on a diabetic diet for health reasons. I was wondering if there was anywhere that I could find a meal plan for a 1800 calorie or 1600 calorie diet, that lists foods for each meal and snacks etc etc. I know for a dieabetic diet just cut out sugar, but the meal plans actually break it down. Please help.

NOTE: This is for story research, so please no “go to the hospital right now” comments. Rest assured, I would if this were actually happening.

Scenario: an otherwise fairly healthy diabetic (type 1) boy of about 13 or so breaks his wrist. Would there be any additional worries, or precautions taken, because of his diabetes? Because of reduced circulation or something?
