True or no? I am not diabetic. My husband likes Stag beer. He was in southern Illinois today and found the motherlode supply at a gas station. He said he had a hard time finding it in northern IL and wondered why they had so much. The clerk siad that they sell the crap out of it because diabetics can drink it? My understanding of diabetes is that alcohol is broke down by the body as sugar…So……..Any thoughts?

Ive already done a search and have only found people saying “no” alcoholic drinks are good for diabetics, and i get that, but if im going to have a drink anyways, WHICH alcholic drinks, concoctions are the best choice? i hear Bacardi rum and a diet drink is a good choice, but what other choices make for the Best choice for a person living with type 2 diabetes? thanks for suggesting actuall drinks and not just saying “no alcoholic drinks are good for you”

Is there any oral insulin product available for type 2 diabetics?
