My insulin Log

Commercial drivers license holders are required to carry a Depaartment of Transportation physical card to be able to driver a BUS or TRUCK. But on the medical evualuation page it ask if you have type 1 or type 2 and or do you take Insulin. But someone said that if you have a certain kind of diabeties, that they wont give you a DOT card. Is this true?

I know if its possible to find one I will probably have a 2 year waiting period.

Is it true that you can get Diabeties from blurry vision.

Why does diabeties result in high volume of urine output?

I understand that with diabetes, the proximal tube/loop of henle/etc cannot get rid of all the excess glucose that is pumped through the nephrons, resulting in sugary urine. BUT, I don’t understand how the presence of glucose would increase the VOLUME of urine. Can someone explain?

I was discovered with suger level 180 -200 recently at age 72 yrs.it has been controlled metaformin.I want to switch over to homeopathy.

I just have this craving for chocolate but want to know is it that harmful?

my work offers “free” insurance. but we get no prescription coverage. i just found out i am diabetic and had to go buy a meter and such. is there a way i can cut down costs on the prescription and the testing strips? do companies offer rebates or coupons? are there stores cheaper then others?
