My friend was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes years ago, but lost 50 poiunds through ongoing diet and exercise and the doc said she basically doesn’t have it anymore. Then she started experiencing shakiness and other symptoms in between meals that goes away with food. The doctor said she is likely suffering from hypoglycemia.

I was released from ICU 2-13-2010 with Type 1 Diabetes also I had a blood sugar of 679. I’m 29yrs old. I was released then went to fill my prescription and it came up to $400.00 dollars. I have to take Levemir and Novolog. The ICU didn’t give me any insulin to get threw the weekend so now I’m stuck trying to find out how I can get my insulin. I have health insurance threw my job but it’s a 3500.00 dollar deductible before they would even touch anything. What can I do?

thers alot of types of diabetes how can you prevent it and whats the difference between them?

She is eight and very fat. She ran out of water when we were out and went into ketosisacidois. Her breath smells alot like acetone so we took her to the emergency room even though she was drinking on her own. The vet says now she has diabetes. Can they recover if we get the weight down?
