Are there fast food restaurants selling high fat low nutrition food in American Christians heaven?
And do the angels working on the counter not bother asking, “Do you want fries with that?” because the answer is always, “Yes! I want fries with that!” because in American Christian heaven, no one gets morbidly obese and diabetic?
Life before nutrition labels?
As the parent of a diabetic, I have found nutrition labels to be a godsend. The mandate to have this information on all packaged/supermarket food is fairly recent. (am ballparking 15 years give or take?) My question only stems from curiousity. As a diabetic, or parent to one, what on earth did you do before nutrition labels were made available?

Would it be OK to leave a restaurant if you ask for nutrition info and they do not give it to you??
Being a diabetic recently switched to an insulin pump, carb counting is a lot more important then before.

Does anyone know any good sites on Nutrition?
I’m 5′3″ @ 160lbs. Everyone says I don’t look it because I’m pretty solid. But I need to lose about 30lbs for me to feel comfortable with myself & I just found out diabetes runs in my family. So first I want to focus on eating healthier and living healthier.
I’ve joined SPARKPEOPLE.COM WHICH IS AN ENORMOUS HELP via a suggestion from a fellow Yahoo member!
Now, I’d like a site to inform me about nutrition, organic foods, good supplements, necessary vitamins. I think I eat healthy already. I only drink water, green tea, coca tea. One cup of coffee/week. I don’t eat fast foods, fried foods, soda, or juice. I eat mostly seafood & poultry & little red meat. I eat whole grains like quinoa. I’m TRYING to take it easy w/ rice, bread, tortillas & pasta. I’m latina so I have a really hard time slowing down on the last food group mentioned.
I want to learn how to eat better not just knowing to eat more veggies & grains. I want to know how eating particular foods affect my body. HELP!
What are the changes of health if a person gets only intravenous nutrition for one year?
I do not add other details and want to know general answer first. Vein condition and changes? Diabetes? Deficiencies? Etc.?
(Other things should be considered in addition if this nutrition passes in conditions of stress in prison (no trial for 4 years) and done not by outside doctors, i.e. should fit into goals of interrogation. It is done by force, without agreement of prisoner. Interogation may use some substances too.
Nutrition and Diabetes?
Just a few points I can use for a final project would be great…I just need to elaborate more!
Thanks
What is the most cost-effective nutrition system for a diabetic?
Within the past two years I was diagnosed with diabetes. My physician prescribed the medication Actoplus. About a year ago I lost my job and with it my health insurance. After finishing off the 90-day supply I stopped taking Actoplus. Its cost, without prescription coverage, is prohibitive. I asked my doctor to prescribe a less expensive medication, but his response was that Actoplus was ideal for my condition. Shortly after being diagnosed with diabetes I began an exercise program. I walk 45-minutes in the morning; 45-minutes at night. I walk 2 miles in each 45-minute circuit. I have lost some weight, however my blood glucose levels have trended higher since going off medication in April 2009. At that time my blood glucose levels were in the 110 – 120 level; since then they’ve trended upwards to 150 or more and appear to continue to trend upwards. My wife is helpful in providing me with a low-carb diet. But I think it would be helpful to use one of the nutrition systems that’s geared toward helping people control their diabetes. Any thoughts?

Diabetic Nutrition Rx is a supplement specifically designed for the special needs of diabetics. This is accomplished by the synergistic action of vanadyl sulfate which allows insulin absorption at the receptor site. The restriction or obstruction of insulin at the receptor sites, or insulin resistance, is the greatest problem diabetics face. Supplementation of vanadyl sulfate and chromium in synergistic ratios may help ease insulin resistance and lea… More >>
