To elaborate, I’ve been looking for family groups who have children with diabetes that meets in the Tampa, Florida area. My family is desperately in need for this type of support and connection and we would like that opportunity to plug in if there is one. When get kids back from their dad, will need to build a support network since oldest now has been diagnosed with diabetes. I am a single parent with three kids. Where can I find daycare/babysitters who can handle a child with diabetes.

I am looking for online support groups for parents of children (infants and toddlers) with diabetes. My son, who is 16 months old, was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and I am looking for as many resources as possible. I am particularly interested in feedback from parents whose children were diagnosed at a young age. I am also looking for coping strategies to deal with the inevitable anxiety, guilt,and frustration of dealing with a child with special needs. I would also welcome suggestions for online resources for building a healthy and diverse meal strategy.

I am 14 and I am training to be able to run all the way across the continental US in hopes to set a record and at the same time be able to raise much needed money for the research and hope for a cure for type 1 diabetes, which I have and is on the rise, rapidly. I don’t know where to begin to get this cause started and actually make it worth something. I am hoping for huge contributions to this cause. How should I begin?
