The way to handle the neuropathy is to handle the cause – the damaged nerves. I have heard my whole life that damaged nerves cannot be fixed, but I know that isn’t true. Supplements can help. Your body needs certain nutrients to be able to make the repair.
There are a lot of doctors who have now been talking about b vitamins to help. It doesn’t work if you go to the drug store and find some b vitamins that are made in a laboratory and aren’t food. You can find whole food supplements and these work as the body recognizes it as food.
The best one I have found is actually designed to help neuropathy and can be found here http://www.realfoodnutrients.com/neu/home.htm.

Have you tried alpha lipoic acid? It’s been shown to provide some relief in larger doses. You can get 200mg capsules at Wal-Mart – try taking one in the morning and one at night for a month and see if it helps. If not, there’s always pharmaceuticals like Neurontin.
